you find are effective/useful and what you really think doesn’t work or belong

The question of whether social/professional networking tools – eg., Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn, etc., – can be useful promotion and awareness venues, or a waste of time – not to mention, potentially damaging – is relevant to individual chiropractors and the profession as a whole.
Where you do stand, on this issue? Are you, as a professional (or as a business) registered on one of these? Why did you choose to do this? If not, why not?

Welcome to Canadian Chiropractor Magazine's new blog page! Thank you for visiting - I invite you to take a few moments to read our discussions and add your comments to one, or more, of our threads.
Please note a new feature on our blog! You will now be required to register with a username and password in order to read our blog topics and bloggers' comments, as well as to post a comment of your own. This registration is free - it's an extra step but we hope it will encourage additional bloggers to join in, in the knowledge that comments will remain amongst colleagues and friends.
Housekeeping: It has
come to my attention that one of the comments on our previous blog topic was
offensive to another blogger, who is one of our readers and a member of the
chiropractic profession. I offer my deep regrets for this inexcusable oversight
- I am more aware than ever for the need to closely monitor our blog.
All bloggers will be given equal opportunity to enter comments that
reflect their opinions on the topic at hand. However, please do focus
all comments on the topic, and finding a progressive solution for the
profession, rather than venting impressions regarding individuals or
groups.
I thank you for visiting our website
so frequently, and for contributing to our blogs - I sincerely hope that I can
continue to enjoy your visits in the future.
