Journal of Chiropractic Education included in PubMed

Inclusion in PubMed Central also means that the journal contents are indexed in the prestigious indexing system PubMed. PubMed is the primary indexing system that scholars in the healthcare and healthcare education fields use when searching for high quality peer-reviewed scholarly articles. The current, future, and, back issues of the JCE (since Fall 2006) are indexed in PubMed and available as free full text files.

Inclusion in PubMed Central and PubMed significantly increases the worldwide exposure of the journal to scholars and other interested parties. Because of this, it also makes the journal more appealing to potential authors when they are considering where they will submit their scholarly work. In addition to demonstrating a track record of quality peer-reviewed contents and excellent practices in publishing and editing, to be included in PubMed Central, a journal must allow its material to be available for free online. The Association of Chiropractic Colleges, the owner of the journal, is to be commended for its unequivocal support of placing the JCE online almost two years ago in anticipation of inclusion in PubMed Central.

The journal may be found in PubMed Central at _http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov_ (http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/) . Potential authors may find instructions for submissions, a link to the manuscript submission website, and free
back issues of the journal dating to 1999 at the journal’s homepage _www.journalchiroed.com_ (http://www.journalchiroed.com/) .
