The OCA hopes DCs will join them for these excellent networking and professional development opportunities, to be held on various dates around the province.

Each event will include:

• a complementary evening cocktail reception including a presentation from Fleishman Hillard (OCA’s new government relations/public relations firm) that will provide key insights into the health care and political climate in Ontario. Additionally, OCA President, Dr. Tom Gadsby will share the organization’s new strategic priorities and talk about what it means in your community and to the profession as a whole.

• a breakfast and professional presentation training seminar open to all OCA members put on by Fleishman Hillard. The session is designed to help DCs enhance their own profiles and that of the profession by enhancing their presentation skills and encouraging community outreach.

The Oct 21-22 event will be held in the Toronto area and the Nov 11-12 event will be held in the Niagara area.  Locations and details will be confirmed prior to the events.  Please join us for the session in your area.
