Dr. John Taylor to speak in Alberta
Sept. 25, Calgary, Alta. – Dr. John Taylor will lecture on Musculoskeletal and Spine Imaging, with an emphasis on ultrasound, bone mineral density and traditional radiography, in Calgary and Edmonton on Oct. 15 and Oct. 17, respectively.

Dr. Taylor is a professor of radiology in the chiropractic program at D’Youville College, Buffalo, New York.  He has co-authored a textbook entitled Skeletal Imaging: Atlas of the Spine and Extremities, published by WB Saunders in 2000, (the second edition will be available November 2009). Taylor is the author of many articles in both the chiropractic and biomedical literature, and has lectured worldwide on the topic of diagnostic imaging in chiropractic. 

 The first lecture is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, from 6-9:30p.m.,  and will be held at the Pureform Diagnostic Imaging South Trail Clinic, #519, 4916 - 130 Avenue SE in Calgary.  Three CE credits (accredited from the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors) are designated for this event.  There is no charge to attend.  Registration will take place in the first 30 minutes of each session,  and each lecture will be three hours in length. 

These lectures, by Dr. John Taylor, are open to any DC who wishes to attend and are being sponsored by GE Health, Pureform Diagnostic Imaging and Capital Region X-Ray  in Alberta.
