June 14, Toronto, Ont. – The 2010 calendar year Level I SpiderTech Certification training schedules, featuring Canadian locations, are now available. SpiderTech is a line of 16 pre-cut therapeutic and performance enhancing supports.
The SpiderTech Professional line of product is the next evolution in the clinical use of kinesiology taping.
The SpiderTech Basic Theory and Application Course is a one day training and certification program intended to develop a further understanding of the functional medicine approach to modulating pain and myofascial dysfunction through the use of our specialized taping applications.
Participants will be provided with the most relevant and current research regarding pain, how Kinesiology Tape works, the rationale behind the designs of our pre-cuts and the methods by which they are applied in a clear and concise manner. The course will also develop the practical skills necessary to apply our full line of SpiderTech Applications using our practical clinical-case based learning methodology.
Fees are $395.00 USD for practitioners, or $295 USD for students. As part of their fee, attendees receive over $200.00 dollars in tape products and course materials, including a full set of the 17 SpiderTech applications for use in clinic post training.
The course is open to licensed healthcare providers including chiropractors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, medical doctors, athletic therapists, massage therapists, naturopathic doctors, nurses, and physiotherapy assistants.
Students enrolled in their last year of the disciplines listed above are eligible to take the course.
All courses are BOC certified – practitioners are encouraged to check with their local jurisdictions regarding CE credits. SpiderTech will provide required documentation for CE submissions for all participants.
