June 1, Trois-Rivieres, Que. – The department of chiropractic at the Universite du Quebec a Trois-Rivieres (UQTR) is pleased to announce the appointment of a new director.

Dr.  André-Marie Gonthier, BSc, DC, FICC has been elected as director for a three year term, beginning June 1^st, 2011.

Dr. Gonthier is well known in the chiropractic community in the province of Quebec, as well as throughout Canada.  He has served as the president of the Ordre des Chiropraticiens du Quebec –he was succeeded in this role by Dr. Georges Lepage in May 2011 – and was actively involved in the development of the chiropractic program at UQTR.
