Dr. Anthony Narushka, a graduate of the chiropractic program at the National University for Health Sciences in the United States,  along with  Drs. Leszek  Majowsky (Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College) and Jane Hajduk (Parker Chiropractic College, Texas), met with the Polish Ministry of Health on July 1, 2008, to discuss the regulation and legalization of chiropractic in Poland.

The meeting also included open discussion regarding the fact that other European countries have formalized chiropractic health care into their national health regulations, and how they succeeded in doing this.

As well, president of the European Parliament, Mr. Hans-Gert Pottering, spoke in support of the ECU.

New members to the ECU, Poland and Hungary, were recognized and welcomed to the association.

It was noted, at this meeting, that medical doctors still remain hesitant of accepting chiropractic healthcare, despite recent initiatives in its favour.
