July 24, Falls Church, VA – The
International Chiropractors Association (ICA) invites DCs to Chicago from September 29-30, 2012 for “The
Gathering”, a weekend of critical thought and analysis about the science, art
and philosophy of chiropractic.
Presented
by the ICA Council on Chiropractic Philosophy (CCP), the event will feature
presentations by six committed chiropractors. Attendees will be inspired to be better
chiropractors by becoming involved in lively and open discussion and debate.
Speakers
will include Drs. Richard Burns, Jon Davis, Clint Erickson, Roger Hynes, Brad
Poock and Rob Sinnott.
The event
will offer the following:
- Attendees will learn the
clinical application of the subluxation – how to find it, how to fix it
(with an overview of techniques);and the biomechanical rationale and
repercussions that surround the adjustment process. - DCs will be given an indepth
look at the philosophical dynamics between dynamics and matter. - DCs will learn more about the
science of chiropractic, that is, the neurology of nociception. - Attendees will be presented
with opposing views on adaptation and examine this subject under the
microscope of modern science. - DCs will have the opportunity
to listen to, and ask questions about, professional papers presented by
philosophy diplomats.
