In the Eye of the Storm: Lessons from the Front Line

From Tuesday 24 February 2015 -  08:00am
To Wednesday 25 February 2015 - 05:00pm
At this year's Bottom Line Conference, hosted by the Canadian Mental Health Association, BC Division, employees who work on the front lines, whether in a school, a hospital, a workplace or in the community, were invited to talk about the ways in which their organizations and the general public succeed and fail to support workers on the front line. We believe the lessons we learn from this discussion will have relevance for the diverse group of attendees to our conference.

Following a sharing of stories and best practices, the 2015 conference will suggest a new way forward, a way out of the storm. It will offer an opportunity to talk about psychological protection and help delegates learn ways to create supportive and respectful workplaces that prevent and address bullying, harassment, mental injury and other forms of psychological harm.
