Canadian National Alliance for Chiropractic (CNAC) fills the need for a national voice that represents the uniqueness that chiropractic care brings to the public

The Canadian National Alliance for Chiropractic (CNAC) will serve as voice for chiropractors who choose to practice in a neurologically-based, lifestyle-oriented, all-ages care environment.

This new professional body offers chiropractors an opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals who are dedicated to advocating for chiropractic to remain a separate and distinct profession that embraces a salutogenic philosophy – an approach that focuses on factors that support health and wellbeing, beyond a more traditional, ‘pathogenic’ focus on risk and problems.

Dr. Amy Robinson, Canadian National Alliance for Chiropractic Board Chair, says CNAC is the voice in Canada for chiropractors who recognize that a healthy spine and nervous system are vitally essential to human physiology, health and wellbeing regardless of a person’s history, condition or age. “We formed the Canadian National Alliance for Chiropractic out of a growing need to have a voice for chiropractors in Canada that represents those of us who practice in a neurologically-based, proactive health/life model for all ages.”

Canadian National Alliance for Chiropractic organization’s President, Dr. Chad Mykietiuk, says the organization’s intention is to inspire the public and build their trust in family-centred chiropractic care. “The public is ready for a bigger message about health and life. People will benefit from understanding that chiropractic is an option for their overall health and wellbeing. We acknowledge that the adjustment, using the exceptional skills of a chiropractor, enhances the body’s ability to adapt and heal – which is our prime objective. In order for chiropractic to stay relevant in the eyes of Canadians we need to promote the full diversity and scope of chiropractic practice.”

The Canadian National Alliance for Chiropractic (CNAC), a member-based organization with representation from almost all provinces, is a coalition of chiropractors who are engaged in the science, art and daily practice of presenting Canadians with exceptional care.
