Chiropractic care for aging population
Worldwide, the proportion of older adults is increasing to the highest number ever recorded. By 2017, there will be more adults aged 65 and older than children under age five, according to the World Health Organization. Chiropractors, can expect that the 15 per cent of the chiropractic patient population aged 65 and older presently served will increase, since spine-related musculoskeletal pain is a significant health issue in this age group.

Women at higher risk for Alzheimer's than breast cancer: report
A new report from the Alzheimer's Association in the U.S. says the disease is a bigger women's health issue than breast cancer. The study says once women hit their 60s, they are twice as likely to develop Alzheimer's than breast cancer.
