WHO funds spinal cord treatment for Nepal earthquake victims

The World Health Organization is allocating funds to help earthquake victims in Nepal with spinal cord injuries. Among the estimated 14,000 injuries incurred as a result of the April 25 earthquake, approximately one in three will require follow-up rehabilitation treatment. Of this number, approximately 12 per cent have damage to their spinal cord. >> Read full article
