I wish you could watch the profession of chiropractic from my vantage point. With every passing month, something occurs to bring chiropractic into the radar of other health professionals and the general public in a positive way, strengthening the profession’s position, certainly in Canada, but also on a global scale!
May 5, 2009 – Think about it; you are managing a personal service business and spending all of your time helping others.
DCs, are your patients healthier than you? Do you have a tough time making it to the end of the day without feeling tired and sore?  Do you envy your patients because they are in good shape and you’re not?
It’s rather disheartening, to me, that we have been taught not to discuss symptoms with patients and we have definitely been trained to refuse to cater to our patients’ pain, right? It’s almost like you’re a “black-balled” chiropractor
Recent headlines and research have suggested that both childhood and adult overweight/obesity rates have reached a critical point with respect to their influence on health, and risk for future illness, and subsequent expense to the already spiralling costs to the health-care system.
